Men's Society Meeting

Opening Prayer
Reading of Minutes from last meeting.
Treasurer’s Report – Balance on hand - $2050.39
Committee Reports
–
[Membership] Scott
Anderson suggested that we produce 3 x 5 cards with the Men’s Society logo and
bullet points that can be handed out at Masses to men as they exit the church.
Also, we should post flyers in the vestibule of the church.
Ron Draney is forwarding to Scott all of the parish registrations that
come in through the Parish web site.
[Spiritual] Fr. James Friedel will return some time in September for his
Parish Retreat.
[Service] John Whalen reported that there are a number of small projects
that can be done around the Church. Perhaps
we should hold a parish clean-up day.
[Social] Fish & Chips Dinner to be held 3/24 from
5:00p.m.

. Their cost is $7.50 each for 175
dinners. Tickets go on sale the
weekend of 2/24, 2/25. Adults
$12.50, Seniors $11.75, Children $6.00.
General Meeting
- The
Men’s Society will make a $100 donation to the School Endowment Fund in
memory of Msgr. Denis Hayes.
- The
Men’s Society will make a $25 donation to Project Linus.
- Jim
Gallagher and Jack Zayac attended a Parish Coordination Meeting aimed at
reducing the number of conflicting events the various groups hold during the
year.
- Two
projects are coming up.
Morristown
Habitat for Humanity on 3/24. This
requires a 4 day commitment. Many
types of jobs are open for this. There
may also be another trip to
New Orleans
to help clean up.
- Parish
Renewal is scheduled for Sunday March 4th.
Setup by our group is needed.
- Confirmation
is scheduled for Saturday April 14th. Setup
by our group is needed.
