From the Pastor

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 1:7)

As the newly appointed pastor, I welcome you to the Web site of Saint Cecilia Roman Catholic Church located in Rockaway, New Jersey in the Diocese of Paterson.  Since the mid-nineteenth century, our parish has witnessed to the Gospel of our Lord, God and Savior Jesus Christ in worship and service.

This Web site will give you a glimpse of our parish life and the invitation to come and visit us.  Our parish is served by three priests, four religious sisters of the Sisters of Christian Charity and a host of lay ministers, who faithfully labor for the Lord.

I welcome you to join with us in our liturgical celebrations which you will find scheduled by clicking on the bulletin tab.  Also posted are the educational and social events which we sponsor for young people and adults.  This is a vibrant faith community which I hope you will call upon.

Our parochial school has been designated #1 in Morris County and serves a shining example of Catholic elementary education.  Click the parish school tab for additional information regarding our pre-school and elementary program.
